Our focus is primarily beer and then running! Always in a family-minded fashion. In total, we are about 40 runners.
We get together on the first Saturday of every month, we haven't missed a date!We like trying new bars and running routes but we have our “clubhouse” which is Honesto Mike, known for their hospitality, great burgers and awesome beer selection.
We started out running an easy 5km but we slowly have been incorporating new distances and usually, we have two groups.. the closer to 5km group and the closer to 10km group.
Some of us run 1/2 marathons or 10km in some of the local events. This year I ran my first 21km! Yeeeess!
Next month we will be celebrating our 4th anniversary! (September 2019)

The Toronto chapter of the Mikkeller Running Club has led monthly beer runs since the spring of 2015.
Part of the RunTOBeer series, MRC events typically follow the "first Saturday of every month" schedule, but occasionally get shuffled slightly to accommodate local races or other events.
Our designated clubhouse is the Craft Brasserie & Grille, in Liberty Village, which features 120 taps and an excellent food menu.
Choose from 10k, 5k and 3k distances, all free. Our volunteer pacers (aka the "Fluid Crew") learn the routes beforehand and adjust their individual paces to make sure no large gaps form and no one gets left behind.
Want to leave a change of clothes at the clubhouse? No problem. A bag drop is always available (but only the 10k starts at the Craft Brasserie).

Do you like the idea of running in good company and getting a post-run cold beer as a reward? Join us for the monthly MRC BCN run. We usually run on the first Saturday of the month. Sometimes there are dates that clash with races, local events or holidays, which means the second Saturday is more practical. We meet & leave our stuff at the Mikkeller Bar. We jog for 60 minutes (+/- 10KM). Route is a little challenging but it's not about speed. It’s about running as a group and staying fit. We run up to the castle and back to the Mikkeller bar for a nice, post-run beer. The first beer is free! Sign up via meetup Barcelona Casual Runners events. For those who are interested, Mikkeller have an athletic clothing line. The t-shirt identifies you as a member of MRC in over 220 chapters worldwide. Know your limits. In October 2014 MRC started in Cph when eight runners set out for a 10 km run followed by a beer at Mikkeller & Friends in Stefansgade. Clubhouse has since then changed to Warpigs Brewpub in Kødbyen.
"Fællestræning":...is always first Saturday of the month. We meet at the clubhouse 11.00.
We have six weekly trainings:
MRC Monday:Every monday 17.00 from the clubhouse. We split into four groups:~ 5 km, slowest-runner-sets-the-pace / run-walk~ 7 km, pace 5:45 min/km~ 10 km, pace 5:00-5:15 min/km~ 12 km, pace 4:30 min/km
MRC Tuesday:Every Tuesday 18.00 from Mikkeller & Friends, Stefansgade, Kbh N. We split into two groups:~ 5 km, slowest-runner-sets-the-pace / run-walk~ 13-14 km, pace 5:30 min/km
MRC Wednesday:Every Wednesday 17.30 from Mikkeller Bar Viktoriagade. We split into two groups:~ 7 km, pace 5:45 min/km~ 10-12 km, pace 4:45 min/km
MRC Thursday morning:Every Thursday 8.00 from Femmes Régionales HQ, Kompagnistræde 8, Kbh K.~ 5 km jog
MRC Thursday:Every Thursday 18.00 currently from Brus, Nørrebro. - Warm up and then a mix of intervals, technique training and sometimes even strength. The route and distance varies from 9 to 12 km. The training is performed together in one group. We catch up during the run.
Everybody´s welcome for all trainings, and you don't have to be a member to take part. A membership running tee costs 300 kr and earns you a lifetime membership.
For the "Fællestræning" we run in different teams at different paces.
Before running the captains go through the routes and we take the mandatory team photo.
After running there is a free beer for all runners.

New chapter in the making
Running the town since 2017.
Every 1st Saturday at 12.30 we run. Usually, there's three pace groups to choose from: relaxed 5K, nice 8K, gazelle mode 12K. The house is always packed and the routes are scenic. Come a few minutes early, bag drop is courtesy of the bar & new friends and guests are always welcome! Besides 1st Sat, there are infrequent & informal mid-month or mid-week runs, beer miles etc.
Helsinki chapter was established three years to the day after Mikkel's first MRC run. It all started for the love of running and great beer — and the specific intent of getting a Mikkeller Bar to town. It's been a success story ever since.

We started in May 2015 at L'Express de Lyon and have been going from strength to strength each month. Twice a year we come up with some sort of idea to break the monotony, like a 16km bar crawl across Paris or brewing a Stateside IPA at one brewery and running it to another microbrewery across town to boil and ferment.
