Beer for Citi Field

Mikkeller San Diego is proud to announce our launch of two new canned beers brewed for Citi Field, home to the New York Mets, in NY. The cans are designed specifically for Citi Field with the Mikkeller characters Henry and Sally portrayed as ‘1980’s era baseball-cards. As a bonus, the cans are easier to hold, but just as cool as a giant foam finger. The design were done by Mikkeller’s longtime in-house designer, Keith Shore. The two beers will be available in cans and on draft at Citi Field from opening day next week.

Mikkel Borg Bjergsø: ‘Going to baseball games is a tradition in American family life, that I have always loved. Families going out for a full day having hot dogs, sodas and beers is awesome, so working on bringing truly great beer to Citi Field’s high quality food selection has been awesome for us.

To meet up with Sally at Citi Field

Henry Hops – IPA
– Bright aromatics boasting orange blossom honey, pine needles, and ripe mango. Wonderfully balanced biscuit and toasted notes pair with lightly resinous hop bitterness to leave a crisp finish.

Say Hey Sally – Pilsner
– Bursting with floral hops and a soft cracker-like malt structure, layers of sunflower and pineapple develop a delicate hop profile. With hints of earth and slate, a snappy finish awakens the palate with medium hop bitterness and a dry backbone.
