We are excited to bring you this small update on Mikkeller Baghaven, our wild and sour beer project at Refshaleøen.
Back in 2016 we started filling our first foeders and just a few weeks a go we poured the last zesty drops into the remaining empty barrels.
The proces of getting the beer from our brewing facilities at Warpigs to Mikkeller Baghaven at Refshaleøen has been made much easier with our brand new, and freaking awesome, special made mobile coolship (see the picture above).
All the foeders are now chock-full with the most delicious sour juice we can produce here in DK and from here on out the foeders will be working their magic before our master blender will take over and add his final touch.
If things move according to plan, we will invite you all for a sneak peek of the facilities af Mikkeller Baghaven during the upcoming Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen in second week in May. A great opportunity to come and watch the installation of a champagne bottle filler, our blending tanks and foeders, and perhaps also to get a taste of the juice inside them.
